Concept: Light cuts through fractured architecture and revealed structure

The revealed timber beams allows for an array of light to stream through shadowed areas. The revealed structure also allows for extra seating and unorthodox ways of entry to the platform.

The reflective surface of the ramp allows for light to fracture creating an ethereal experience as you ascend the ramp. The ramp serves as a leisurely experience in ascending to the remaining seating and resting area.

 

The holes of the canopy allow for a streaming of light to cut through, creating spotlights on the surface of the platform. The matrix like frames also add another source of light to stream through.
